Sustainability

In late 2024, we became officially Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certified.
This means we can trace every piece of cod and haddock we serve all the way back to the fishing grounds it came from — places where strict standards protect fish stocks and ocean health.
You'll even see in the shop where your fish was caught.
Frying Range
We spent a week in Holland ensuring our equipment was up to scratch. We use a high-efficiency Dutch frying range that holds a high, steady temperature, meaning faster cooking, less oil absorption, and a cleaner, crisper product every time.

Cardboard Boxes
White Biodegradable Packaging
Our white boxes are biodegradable! they’ll break down far quicker than plastic even in general waste
Paper Bags
Our paper bags are fully recyclable — just remove any leftovers first before adding them to your recycling bin.
Thermal reusable
We also sell reusable thermal lined bags to keep your fish and chips piping hot till you get home. Feel free to order with your click & collect or purchase one instore.
After enjoying your meal, simply remove any leftover food and the greaseproof liner, flatten the box, and pop it into your recycling bin.(If it's had a heavy splash of ketchup, curry sauce, or mushy peas, it's best to pop it in the general waste instead.)
